I have an extensive teaching background teaching leadership experiences for corporations, the US Naval Academy and Wharton Business School. I have a background in developing service learning and cultural exchange programs in Chilean Patagonia. Many years of teaching professional avalanche risk management as well as having built and operated a treetop adventure park! I have a BA from UC Berkeley in Anthropology and a MA in Environment and Community from Antioch University.

Being able to share experiences, skills and my love for guiding; learning from fellow guides and students and supporting how we can be safe and efficient; Learning and developing new skills from my fellow instructors and students, too.

I love being a dad! It's my favorite job, the one that is at once the most difficult, fun and rewarding.
