Additional training/Areas of focus

The work we do, the places we work and the guides who comprise the community in which we work are very important to me. It’s an honor to be part of the AMGA guiding community, doubly so as I’m also a member of the ACMG community. I bring over a decade of heli ski guiding and Canadian perspective to my instruction, finding great value in being part of the international community as well. Since completing my own IFMGA certification, I’ve sought continued development in avalanche risk management via the CAA’s Level 3 program, remain active in all disciplines of mountain pursuits, and help run a Heli ski company in Coastal British Columbia.

best part of Working on the instructor team

Hearing the laughs of fellow IT members (I’ve memorized many of them) and being witness of and contributor to so many guides’ professional development.

Non-climbing/Skiing hobbies

Spending time with my son.
