Steve House

Steve House has been guiding since 1991 and earned his AMGA Alpine Guide Certification in 1992 and IFMGA-Certification in 1999. Based in the Pacific Northwest, Steve has guided throughout North America, Europe, South America, and the Himalaya. Steve is the former alpine director for the AMGA, and has been sporadically examining and instructing in the ski and alpine disciplines since 2001. Steve is best known for his personal climbing accomplishments in the Alaska Range, Canadian Rockies, and Himalayas. His most recent expeditionary success being a new route on Nanga Parbat's Rupal Face with fellow IFMGA-certified guide and AMGA instructor/examiner, Vince Anderson in September 2005.
